The primary goal at the Tasmanian Academy is to help you:

• complete Year 12
• enhance your TE score
• get on the pathway to university

The Academy aims to provide you with the best possible learning and individual support so you can achieve your goals.

We want to stimulate your interest and involvement as a citizen of the world, challenge your thinking and understanding, and help you to develop as a whole person.

We want you to enjoy your learning, and to appreciate an environment where you are free to explore learning and life simultaneously.

We believe that your success as a learner also depends on the quality of your teachers. Academy teachers are involved and enthusiastic about their teaching, and have a deep understanding and love of their subject areas.

They will work to engage with you on an individual and personal level to help you achieve during your time at the Academy. It is our teachers who will challenge and push your thinking, at the same time as provide you with the support you need to rise to those challenges.
